This is the field geopotential height, standard deviation, at pressure level 500hpa, at area global, at forecast time-step 84 hours. It is produced by ECMWF Ensemble Prediction System. which runs twice a day (00 and 12 UTC). It consists of 52 individual ensemble members. The field is defined in a 0.5X0.5 latitude/longitude degree grid. It is distributed under 'WMO Additional' policy. This field is encoded in GRIB 2 and can be found in binary files with filenames like 'HHXL50ECED030000_C_ECMF_20180703000000_84h_es_gh_500hPa_global_0p5deg_grib2.bin'
