This is the field sea surface temperature (anomaly), forecast means, eps member 01, at surface, at area global, at forecast month fourth. It is produced by ECMWF Seasonal Forecasting System which runs once a month. It produces forecasts about the 'climate' that can be expected in the coming months. The field is defined in a 2.5X2.5 latitude/longitude degree grid. It is distributed under 'WMO Additional' policy. This field is encoded in GRIB 2 and can be found in binary files with filenames like 'HTXX01ECSF150000_C_ECMF_20161001000000_2880h_ta_global_2p5deg_grib2.bin'
