VIRR(Visible Infrared Radiometer) L2 Daily Fog Product utilizes FY-3 VIRR data to derive the fog information around global sea and China land range according to the features of infrared, mid-infrared and visible channel in VIRR and GIS data, distinguishing fog from other target depend on the spectrum characteristics. Then, using support virtual machine(SVM) technique to distinguishing fog more accurately. On the end, making production through image processing technique. The production is created once a day. The resolution is 0.01 degree.
