Product description:
This is the field significant wave height of combined wind waves and swell, analysis, at surface, at area global, 00 and 12 UTC. It is produced by ECMWF High Resolution Wave Model (HRES-WAM) which runs twice a day (00 and 12 UTC). It is coupled to the atmospheric model (HRES). The sea state is described by the two-dimensional wave spectrum. The field is defined in a 0.5X0.5 latitude/longitude degree grid. It is distributed under 'WMO Additional' policy. This field is encoded in GRIB 2 and can be found in binary files with filenames like 'HJXA88ECMF030000_C_ECMF_20180703000000_an_swh_global_0p5deg_grib2.bin'
