Product description:
The Atmospheric Station Kresin u Pacova, Czech Republic, was established as a station specialised in greenhouse gas and air quality monitoring and research at the regional scale. This rural background station is located in Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. The highlands are an extensive range of hills and low mountains (500 to 800 m ASL) which run in a northeastearly direction across the Czech Republic. The highlands are among the cleanest areas in the Czech Republic without major industry and characterized by agricultural activities and woods. The villages closest to the station (approximately 3 km) have a few hundred inhabitants.
