Product description:
Located on East Ongul Island, 4 km from the seashore. The ground is covered with snow over 10 months, so only some mosses and lichens grow during the snowmelt period. Annual mean air temperature is about -10 °C. Annual mean wind speed is about 7 m/s. Prevailing wind direction is northeasterly. Location height was changed from 21m to 16m above sea level with moving of the system in May, 2008.
